Jessica Flegel graduated from The Ohio State University in 2000 with a business degree and proceeded to work in corporate America for many years after graduation. In 2015, she began realize that the stress and burn out from her job was impacting her health and wellness and she felt a pull to finally do something she loved and felt passionate about. Always very interested in food, cooking, health and helping people, she enrolled at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the world’s largest nutrition school in July of 2015 to become a certified health coach. She took a leap of faith and quit her job in January of 2016 to pursue her dream of health coaching full time.
She works with clients to help them achieve wellness goals such as losing weight, increasing energy, or naturally alleviating symptoms of digestive distress. She also focuses on disease prevention, reducing stress, and creating balance in all areas of life. She takes a whole-body, or holistic, approach to wellness. This means that she goes beyond food and diet to explore the many ways that a client can improve their quality of life and find lasting health and happiness. It also means that she considers things like career satisfaction and fulfilling relationships as being influential to client success.
Jessica lives in the McGees area with her husband Geoff, son Ryan and daughter Maddie. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as gardening, exploring nature, reading and volunteering at her children’s schools.
